Trouble with Foster homes keeping dogs in PA (read) I was moving and needed homes for my two dachshunds . I called bucks country dachshund rescue Cindie Kura , she assured me my dogs would be in foster homes in Pa and would be returned when I wanted no matter how much time passed. After 6 to 9 months when I was settled I asked for my 11 yr old longhair and 6 tr old shorthair to be returned. She kept putting me off and I had am email for the longhairs foster home. The people told me he was good sent me a photo . When I tried to get him back. I got the cold shoulder. I was horrified. Cindie Kura is running some kind of a scam here. My dog is listed under a sanctuary dog asking for donations with a incorrect sob story about me. This dog may not even be alive today yet he is up there being exploited. I asked for my dogs back for 3 1/2 years. They were never returned. I dropped off the 2nd dog to a ranch house in Pa just over the border of NJ , she had 20 or so dachshunds barking in a kitchen behind a baby gate, my red shorthair was terrified. after I used the restroom she kind of pushed me out the door , keeping my dog. I was helpless at the time was ill and had to move. So I needed a temporary foster. She said I could have my dogs back. But that was a complete lie. My 11 yr old black longhair dachshund was especially painful for me, She said he would be confused if she let me see him. I did not want to see him, I wanted him back. Like she promised. Does she do this to others , then put those dogs up online for donations saying they are sanctuary dogs. I asked her today if he was still alive. She said how do you know where he is. I said YOU told me and the foster family gave me their email and used to send me pics then stopped after a while. Cindie Flat out kept my two dachshunds. What kind of a scam is she running .? Anyone else have complaints of her keeping your dogs. I have been heartbroken so long it is a tragedy of torment. Warning to others if you love your dachshund , do not believe you will get your own dog back. She will lie to your face and keep them. She profits off of donations and still is in debt. wow what a deal man I hope my dogs are alright.
