Bucks Cty Mike writes:Bella adopted us at the Bucks County SPCA on May 20, 2009. We were told that she was about 1 year old, having been given up for adoption by not one, but two family members who had purchased her from a local breeder. Since we have no exact birthday, we made her birthday May 20, 2008. The SPCA worked with us for close to a year to help us find the right doxie since we both work and 4 to 5 hours alone would be cruel to a puppy. Bella doesn't like it when we have to go to work but is overjoyed when I come home for lunch and can spend time with her, then Mom comes in at about 5 or 6 PM and spends the evening, to be followed by me again at 8:30 PM for the night. Lately, Bella has taken to ignoring her bed in favor of one of daddy's pillows overnight. Not too spoiled my Bella Joy! Since this posting Bella has been "invited" to the big bed...need I say more! By the way, Bella was her given name, Joy is what she gives us, therefore...
