Schatzi is my 5 year old doxie who often has the entire family laughing, even when she has done something that should get her in trouble. She can give us such an innocent look that all is forgiven. She is my second doxie. My first experience with with Kendall, who went to the Rainbow Bridge at the young age of 7. I thought I would wait a month or so before getting another dog, but I made it less than a week. My husband and I had already decided we would never have a home without a doxie in it.
Schatzi loves to snuggle under the covers and be held while watching TV, or reading or anything else. As long as she is next to her humans, she is happy. She loves barking at anyone she sees outside (a little too much, sometimes) but we are working on that. When my daughter is at grad school and my husband at the fire department, I couldn't ask for a better companion.
