These guys are family, not a sock with a hole in it so you chuck it in the trash. Dachshunds are certainly not a breed for the faint of heart; they are so smart and slippery and full of mischief (and sometimes their brave and loyal nature is manifested in aggression, which needs to be, and can be, put in check immediately. I'm certain you and your little Bella Joy will have many days (and nights - dachshunds are GREAT bed warmers - I should know, because I sleep with THREE and a husband). They are totally worth the work; they are noble and funny and trouble on stumpy legs, always interesting and always full of love and fun, wouldn't you agree?
