Doxies and Pancreatitis
In February of this year our two beautiful babies both had a serious battle with pancreatitis thanks to an especially greasy batch of hooves that they chewed on one weekend. Now Oscar has gotten it again and it really having a hard time with it. We took him to the vet and they kept him until late Friday. Since then we are still unable to feed him, he hasn't eaten since last Tuesday!! The vet said to give him pepto every 8 hours and continue fasting him for another day. I am sooooo worried about him, from what I've read this is a very serious thing for them to get. Please let me know if any of you have had babies to get this horrible problem and what helped them get better and if you are having this recurring. Thanks!!!
