DailyDoxie.com is dedicated to the memory of "Max"
Max was a small miniature short haired red doxie that lived from 1974-1990.
He followed my mother all over the house every day, and he loved to find the
warmest spot in the house to sleep - either a sunny spot, in front of the
heating vents, in front of the refrigerator or with one of us.
He ate Gainesburgers - I'll never forget the crackle of the cellophane wrapper.
We called him Max, Maxie, and Maxi Taxi, but really his full name was Maxamillion Von Weiner.
Max was a great best friend for 16 years.
He loved his family but he was
pretty aggressive towards anyone outside the family. He was a tough little guy -
he got severely injured when he was hit by a car but he fully recovered and
continued to go up and down the stairs and jump up and down on and off the couch.
When we lost Max we were crushed - he was such an important part of our family.
It is because of my love for him that DailyDoxie.com was built.
Long live the Doxies!
