Anal Glands - Yuck!
(read)
One of our doxie's has a continual problem with infected anal glands. We have to clean them almost weekly. She has been on multiple rounds of antibiotics as well as pain pills. The Vet said the next step is to have them washed out, which I understand is not a fun thing for them. Has anyone else had this problem??

Anal Glands
Just a suggestion. Does she have adequate time to poop when she is out? Dogs normally express their anal glands when pooping. If she is rushed or not given enough time to stay in her poop position, she will not empty her glands and you will have issues.
