Allergies & ear infections (read) Anybody else dealing with skin allergies? Skin bumps, then flakes. I know he's itchy. We have tried several antihistamines & allergy bath stuff from the vet. It's year round, but worse in summer, & it also makes my boy Rudy more prone to ear infections, both bacterial & yeast. Skin Allergies! Heidi, more than likely your baby is reacting to something in his food he is allergic to. Andy, my doxie, had those issues for the first five years of his life. They pumped him so full of steroids he ended up with diabetes. It was the food! Had I known, I would have simply found a food he was not allergic to and not given him all the meds. I feed Andy The Honest Kitchen, Thrive or Embark dehydrated raw. Another food that I think is top quality is Wellness. Buy the protein focused GRAIN FREE and see if that helps.
