Allergies & ear infections (read) Anybody else dealing with skin allergies? Skin bumps, then flakes. I know he's itchy. We have tried several antihistamines & allergy bath stuff from the vet. It's year round, but worse in summer, & it also makes my boy Rudy more prone to ear infections, both bacterial & yeast. Allergies My blue & tan standard rescued doxie has a lot of skin allergies/problems too. The vet advised that it was extremly common in the "diluted" colors of dachsunds and that is why breeding is very important. Posted by melissafriedl-shipley - October 1, 2009 at 2:07 pm
