Rescueing a Senior Dog
(read)
We have rescued senior doxies also. They are the best and have lots of love to give. It is amazing to see how quickly they adapt to the household routine. We have found behavioral issues to be minimal, and they usually have nice manners too. One of our seniors, rescued from a kill shelter on his last day, is on this site. His name is Happy Go Lucky. Good luck to all you senior sweeties!

Senior adoption
I have adopted a senior doxie/poo this past week, and he has been a real delight so far. I feel fortunate to have him in our home!
