Raw Diet (read) Hi, My Norma Jean is a picky eater and I was thinking about switching her to a raw diet. But first I would like to know more about it. Does anyone on here use raw diet for there dogs? Raw Diet?? I only feed my 4 Doxies Bravo Raw Meat. My Honey went from a seizure every 6 weeks to every 6 months once off Royal Canin and on meat, my other Doxies lost weight just by removing all grains from their diet. And we walk about 4-5 miles a day, and at least 8-11 miles once a week. The raw diet is their natural diet (Only a 5% DNA difference between the dog and wolf). An enzyme called lysozyme is missing in the dog's mouth to digest grain, this also with a more acidic stomach (compared to ours) allows them to digest meat and kill of all bacteria without getting sick. Take a look at my 4 Doxies and tell me what you really think about raw diets. The raw diet is the best thing you can do to prolong a canine's life.
