Meetups are great. The Dachshund Meetups are great, actually helped my Pork Chop get better acquainted with other dogs in general. I was actually a part of NYC Dachshund Meetup until January 2010 when I was thrown out for uncovering a large problem. You see there was a woman who joined the group and started to offer something called Webinars. Well this woman claimed to be a "Dr" and would charge you $10 for a show on Dachshund health... well before I could say anything I was asked to leave because my questioning was too hard... Well this woman's name is Cindie Kura, she is the medical officer of her own Dachshund Rescue in PA. A simple Google search on her name will show you everything you need to know to avoid her. She is now charging $15 a webinar in only 3 months and joining ever Dachshund Meetup she can... again just Google her name and Meetup and you should see what I mean. I hope no one falls for her scam, as she has a failed clinic in PA to her name where she injured many animals and people. Just imagine someone returning to you the wrong animal remains knowingly... Would you trust her?? I listed all the actual information at "Dachshund Rescue of Bucks County & NJ is a FRAUD", I started that group 3 months after I had my personal issues with her, because I found out she used to breed Dachshund and sell them with an adoption fee under the guise of a "rescue".
