I found a tick on my baby...
(read)
Last Thursday night we found a tick on Slinky. We tweezed it out and it was dead. Immediately we put the Front line on her and made sure she was okay. However, sine then I have noticed a bump on or around, very close to the site where we plucked the tick from. Should I be worried? It doesn't seem to bother her. I have been feeling it numerous times throughout the date to see if it is getting bigger, or smaller. It seems like a hard mass. Any dieas? I said if it does go down or feel any better I will get her into the vet by Wednesday. I just don't know what this could be....

Lots of ticks !!!
Its bad enough Bert gets the ticks from our back pasture but with the flea tick medicine they won't stay on Bert and I have had up to 5 in one month on me!!! They are still wandering around me and have not bitten into me yet! But if when he does get one that has latched on I get a little slab of vaseline and the creepy crawler backs himself out and then I grab him with a paper towel. Works great, and sometimes he gets that little bump but it goes away in a couple of days.
