Mostly chocolates (supposedly bad, we know), and especially kitkats!! Halloween is usually an issue... he somehow manages to steal some candy each year.We've tried a few things with trimming his nails.. he's not into any of them. The best bet is usually to just get it done quickly and for one of us to hold him while the vet clips em so the vet won't loose a finger. Other than that, though, he's such a sweetheart - and is a heater! If anyone is ever cold, they just need to hold Oli for a bit and they'll be dying of heat soon enough.. Maybe your folks can try introducing the dremel to you. It makes some noise but if someone gives you massages while it's running, you can learn to relax when you hear that noise. I haven't used clippers for years and never will go back to that awful 'chop' guillatine thing! Ouchie. My dogs used to have their nails cut back to 1/4 inch to go to dog shows, so if anyone hates getting their nails done, it's them.
