Yellow Jacket Sting
(read)
Poor petunia was walking in leaves and a yellow jacket was in there. It stung her on her around her rump under the tail area. Petunia did not understand what happened. She started dragging her butt on the ground and then would not walk. I flushed the area with cold water because I could not find a welt and there was no swelling. The vet said to give her 1ml of childrens benadryl. She was up and chasing chipmunks with in the hour. Anyone else have a similiar story?

Bzzzzzzzzz
When Lily was a baby, she got stung by a wasp. I've never heard her scream before and it scared the daylights out of me. I immediately called her vet and she said to give her the childrens benny and put ice on the sting. The benny knocked her out and in the morning, she was back to her usual happy self once again. That was my first tramatic experience with her.
