to breed or not to breed
(read)
I think about breeding Poppy Lou but the thought of letting her have puppies and then taking them away feels too sad. So i think of keeping a whole litter but dont know if I could handle that. Also if we breed my daughter wants one. Thoughts?

Breeding
I Breed a few litters a year. I think about what pleasure someone will have with their new family member. I sell to people I screen fairly well. Making sure my puppies get the best home and care I can hope they will have. Alot of the people that buy from me have just lost a dachshund they had for many years..It does take a special person to raise the puppies to make sure they are well socialized and you need to do everything correctly when raising them. If you are going to Breed, Read, Read, and Read, everything you can from pre-natal, Birthing and Raising. it is not easy but can be fun and Great. Good Luck.
