Sweet Shellie

So nice to see a special girl like you as DOTD. I am sure everyday is a special day for such a sweetie . Enjoy the extra doxie fame

What a sweetheart. We wish you a wonderful and spoiled day today. Sometimes too many girls makes for a crabby bunch. I know my two have their snappiness at times. But bring a male in and everyone tends to chill out. Weird.

Good Morning Shellie!

Happy DOTD Day to you and yours! Did I tell you that I have a new (well it's about 1 1/2 years now) long haired sister? Well like I said before, us "divas" must rule the roost! Hope you are doing well. Bella Joy, Maci Grace, Anne and Mike too.

Shellie!

Well, I think by now you are settled in at home! I know you probably rule the roost by now.. LOL.. us doxies do that stuff... my little sis Winnie isn't much into toys either, she is a rescue.. but I like my ballies.. I can play like crazy! I am a bit 'chunky' too so my mama has to watch me like crazy.. diet is a 4 letter word! ha! You are the star today, so you can get more treaters.. tee hee.. congrats on being DOTD! My mama's first doxie had no tail and she was 'just perfect'.. so who cares, we all all perfect in our mama's eyes, right? have a pawsome day! love Roxy and Winnie, too

Hello shellie,

How ya doin! That's Philly for hello! Just came across your page and I was wondering how you are coming along. After all the last post before this was almost 2 years ago. Lost the extra weight? Found out that toys are fun? Trained your new mom and dad yet? Give us an update. Your long haired friend Bella Joy and Anne and Mike too.

What a beautiful face! We're glad you are in your furever home!

Such a beautiful pup!

How unfortunate that someone clipped her tail b/c her face looks exactly like my Josie, who is a black and tan long hair. It's surprising how many people have never seen a long-haired dachshund. Thank goodness she has found a furever home w/ lots of belly rubs!

Shellie, you are funny!

It sounds like Shellie needs some adjustment time--I'm sure she'll turn out to be a great dog --aren't all dachshunds? Maybe she needs a visit with the Dog Whisperer--he can cure her fear of toys!
