The memories live on!

A day hasn't gone by that I don't think of Dewy after his passing, and I'm sure Charter is remembered likewise .Their love is unconditional and bring a smile to our faces always. RIP Charter, you are loved.

Such a sweet boy!

We feel your loss, even all these years later. Old Doxies rock and we love each and every one. The Rainbow Bridge is filled with Doxies waiting for their humans to arrive, were coming! Brian

What a sweetie pie!

I am so sorry he passed on. I feel your loss. I lost my Lulu 2 years ago and I still miss her so much. I think of her every day. I have her picture as my home screen on my phone and computer. She is always with me, as I am sure Charter is with you. Nothing touches your heart like a dachshund. They are like little sweet babies that never grow up. We have two other doxies but Lulu will always be our special little angel. Love to you on your DOTD!

How sad. Charter was taken way too young. He looks SO much like my girl. She is 14 and I know exactly how you feel. I'm wondering did you bless yourself with another pup?

Miss You Charter

I was so sorry to hear of your loss. My Herbie is 12 soon to be 13 and I cherish every moment I have with him and am very afraid of loosing him. My heart goes to you for your loss. I do believe that we will meet our wonderful four legged friends that were given to us and taken to soon. If you like email me at amaqks@yahoo. com and I will send you a great book someone gave my sister about meeting our beloved pets again. God be with you. lol

Magna Charter!

He was one mighty fine lookin' dox, and looked to be a real character. I still think back fondly to the dox we had when I was young, 45 years ago, he was such a part of our family. I think that maybe because they are so low to the ground, and have to adjust to humans being so high up, they somehow understand or resonate with the human condition and relate to owners differently than most other breeds. Anyway, Godspeed Charter!

Sweet Old Boy

Your Charter looks so much like my Chloe. She is 14 and still going strong and fending off Gerta (1 year) and Roxy (11 wks.). We lost Chloe's sister (sin twister) two years ago to diabetes. I can tell he was a sweet guy that you will miss for years to come. I call Gerta Clara half the time because she does so many of the same things that Clara did - the bad things. Thanks for sharing Charter's life with us.

To Charter's Mom

I also lost my Maxi in Oct. 2009, and I think of him everyday. My friend wrote some words in a memorial for me that I have posted on Maxi's profile that helped me alot. I recently adopted "Bert". He is all boy and I am enjoying his "doxie" antics. Thanks for sharing Charter on the doxiedaily website, I have a soft spot in my heart for the red smooth doxies and when I clicked on Charter's name and saw his handsome pictures I get all sentimental remembering the great doxie I had in Maxi and now with Bert.

Handsome Mr. Charter!!!

We want to thank your Mom for sharing these wonderful pictures of you with us! The pictures show us what a character you were and how you enjoyed yourself where ever you were. We LOVE the picture of you wearing your winter coat on the beach! Our coats are just like yours, except, they're blue with silver trim. We always enjoy staying warm....even here in Florida!!! Sending you wet Angel wiener kisses.
