I lost Herbie 9-4-14 who was my canine soul mate. I adopted June, a senior girl, and Kourtney a young playful girl when Herbie was 14. Kourtney has a shoe fetish. She will still my shoes and fight anything that. gets near them. Never chews them just wants to keep them. Problem solved by me keeping them away from where she can reach them. Congrat's on being our DOTD today. Love it when us locals get big billings :) On a side note, our little Lily had to have cervical surgery on Wed. She is down at the Cornell Companion Hospital in Ithaca, NY. She ruptured a disc in her neck. We receive updates on her twice a day and is doing well. Our house is empty without her here. Financially, it made no sense, but Josie has been my rock during this difficult time. I had a sweet red dachshund named Gracie who also got cancer the same time as me. We fought together...but Gracie lost her fight and we had to send her to the bridge...absolutly the worse day of my life. Sorry for your loss and bless you!
