What a wonderful person you are. I know those cases take a lot of patience and can be a little scary. Hope Sammy is doing really well these days. He's cute as can be.

Hi Sam

It has been awhile since we had a visit. I am what some would call an aggressive dog. I am 16.5 yrs old now. Mom makes sure that I do not get close to children because children can be kind of scary at times. Mom does not always agree with Cesar's methods but we are glad he helped you. You are so very handsome and talented.

Hi Sammy!

What a great story and love all the pictures, congrats on being DOTD! Our Cory can be a biter too and is scared to death to go to dog parks, wish we could figure out how to "fix" him.

Hi Sweet Sam

Your story is a true inspiration. I stopped by your page when I saw your picture and noticed what a cutie you are.By your pictures you look like you do not have a bad bone in you and seems like you have maybe just understood;. What a great foster mom you have and such a heartwarming story because you are so cute and lively looking. How was your Mom able to Cesar's help. I am so happy you have a home. I believe that there are not any BAD DOGS, just humans who do not know what they are doing. I hope you live a long happy life. I hope you give me updates on your progress. Nice to meet you

Handsome Sam!

You are Sam's Angel On Earth!! How special are you, to give these lil' furballs another chance. I LOVE the "Hi Mom" pic...you can just see the love & gratitude for you in his eyes...he is just adorable. Doxies just are not physically suited for hyper active children or ill-behaved children...they get hurt more easily and then they get blamed for defending themselves...parents need to own the blame. I taught Pre-K for over 10 years and the stories I heard regarding this was sad for the dogs involved. Give Sammy a hug for us!!:)xoxo

What A Handsome, Lucky Doxie Dude!!!

We're glad you are with your Mom! We love the picture of you swimming. WOW! We don't even like to get our feet wet. We do, however, LOVE going to the dog park!!! All the smells, all the space, all the other dogs and the SQUIRRELS!!! We haven't caught one yet, but, boy, when we do. That will be a happy day at the park! Congratulations on being today's doxie of the day!

Congrats!

Congratulations on being the doxie of the day! I'm so sorry to hear that your former owners allowed a child to torment you so, but I'm so glad you've been given a second chance at life.

Hope you can learn how to use the dremel (cordless) on their nails. It is a lot easier on them. We haven't used the clippers for years now and never will again. If you go to this website, the left hand side has How to Dremel a dog's nails. Hope you try it, but start out slow.. www.DoberDawn.com
