Sammy was almost 8 when he left us. he also passed away at home. The vet wanted us to put him down and I kept refusing, knowing how much our Sam hated the vets office, I was Not going to let him die there. We have pictures of him on the wall and still miss him so much. I guess you will always miss the ones you lose but knowing how happy their life was, always helps.
