Terra is the love of our lives. We adopted Terra September 3, 2008 at the age of 3.5 from South Carolina. She was rescued by DRNA and found to have heartworm disease. After 3 months of treatment and almost dying after her 1st treatment, she made it thru thanks to her foster Mom and her rescue group.
Terra is a crazy lizard hunter. She plays with a toy on occassion but prefers live things to play with. She is so sweet and loving and SO SPOILED. We take her everywhere. She has her own car seat and stroller. She comes to dinner with us when we eat out and living in Florida, that allows for many dinners outside. She loves to travel and likes to stay in hotels and visit all the people she can. She makes sure that no bird flys over her yard and protects us like doxie's do. Everynight she cuddles in our bed with her blanket and she and I fall asleep holding on to each other. I feel so blessed that she came into our lives.

Oh, your mom and dad lived so close to us! I bet they're happy to have escaped the cold weather though. I don't mind the snow for a few minutes, it's kind of interesting to sniff, I get it all over my nose! But then it gets too cold and I don't like it anymore. Warm weather is definitely better. I am so happy to hear your story, and that you have a family that loves you so much! You are a very beautiful girl, and you deserve it :D My mom was very upset over the loss of the doxie she had before me, she didn't think she ever wanted a dog again. But she says when she saw me, she changed her mind ^-^ My mom never leaves me alone either, isn't it great? I hate being alone. Well, I'm going outside for a "sniffy expedition" now. Such a gorgeous and camera ready doxie. I especially like the photos of her by the poolside and in her carseat. What brand of carseat is that and where did you get? Mocha is in the market for a new one.
