My name is Buford Ulysses and my mom gave me such a regal Civil War inspired name after one of her favorite cities in Georgia. I'm also known as Bu or The Boo. I am a very active dog and get into lots of trouble despite my adorable innocent face. I've eaten books, eyeglasses, unattended hamburger meat, and even caused the demise of a pet cockatiel. Despite several obedience classes, the only commands I mind are sit or down. I'm not into the whole "heel" thing. Therefore, when I go for walks I like to go nutty and drag my mom down the driveway while howling (not bad for a 12 pound wiener dog). I love to sing whenever someone plays the piano. I'm an excellent watch dog and enjoy notifying everyone that I see a pedestrian, another dog, squirrel, mailman, a leaf, etc. I'm excellent at picking fresh raspberries off the bushes in the back yard and I love to go for car rides. I'm the baby and have two older sisters - Lucy and Georgia. I don't like buzzing bugs and will scratch at the wall to let people know that there is a bee nest on the outside of the house on the other side of the wall.

What is new in your world these days? Are you keeping those beautiful eyes and ears open and alert just in case Santa happens come by. I also like to pick wild black/dew berries when I go walking with my mom. All this time she thought that was a "special" talent of mine. I guess all of us Doxies are Just Very Special.
