9-5-10: Finally, the weather has moderated a little. It's only middle 80s-90 degrees instead of 90+ degrees. Last Sunday, Koni and Mom went to visit Koni's foster family, Julia, Mike and their dogs, Brie and Kodi. Everybody was very happy to see each other and LOTS of puppy kisses were dispensed. Julia and Mike thought Koni looked great and that she looked alot like her mother, Lilly. We had a great time hanging out and visiting with everybody. Miss Julia showed us her new video camera and did a short movie of our visit. It is posted on YouTube and is listed as "Koni's Sunday Visit". Mom thought it was so cool, that she went and got one for herself. She hasn't done anything of us. Hope we'll go back for another visit real soon. Before Mom and Koni's trip to Lake City, we did get to make a visit to the dog park. We got a chance to hang out with our friends, Bridie anf Rohan....who we hadn't seen in a long time. They got a chance to meet sissy Koni and thought she was a very confident little girl. This past week, Koni went to the vet's and was spayed. Everything went well and she's recovering nicely. Koni's not real happy that Mom's not letting her go racing and chasing with her running buddy, Cyndi. We did go to the park today and Koni had to stay on leash. Again....not real impressed with not being able to go exploring!!! Still had a good time and got to visit with friends, Darcy and Benny. We got to meet two new DOXIE friends, Lovey and Thurston. Mom didn't get any pictures, but said next time she would. Cyndi and Thurston hit it off and had a great time running around with our other friend, Indy. Lovey and Thurston were really brave and went swimming in the small pool. We can't wait to hang out with them again!!!
