3-7-10: Another quiet, kinda cool (weather) week. We did get a chance for a mid-week walk with Aunt Debbie and Cousin Benji. It's always nice when we get a chance to hang out with them. We, finally, were able to go to the dog park WITHOUT our coats!!! It was so nice! Mom still had several layers of clothes on. It was GREAT to be able to feel the air (and dirt) in our hair. Walking was the order of the day. We got to see our friends, Austin and Rush....we thought that they had moved. They are still here and we had a good time greeting them. When we got home from the park, Mom gave us a special treat. She had gotten us some bully sticks....Boy, they were good! Mom made sure we didn't make piggies of ourselves, and only let us chew them about half up. She told us we could have more later. That made us sad, but we understood. We'll make sure to remind her next week.

Nice tushie shot Miss Macy!! heehee It's been a quiet week-end around here. Mudder is sad, because the stray cat Simon that is living at nana's house that mudder nursed back from death's door last fall, got sick again and nana took him to the vet and he has feline leukemia....it's the feline chest leukemia, which causes the lymph nodes in his throat to swell and that compresses the windpipe and esophagus, which causes him to cough and gag. We are just sick about it. Mudder has been going over and giving him antibiotics to help with the swollen lymph nodes, so he can eat with ease. Normally, you wait 6-12 weeks to have them tested again for leukemia agian, because they can fight the virus and win....but we think that back in the fall when he got sick the first time, that is when he caught it. He's drooling and that is how they shed the virus thru their saliva. Nana has to keep him isolated away from her other cats....it's so sad....say a lil' prayer for him. Mudder bathed Reisa, Winston and Caleb today....they sure smell good....I wanted to get a bath too, but mudder said, it's not your turn today lil' brown dog....so I have to wait. Hope you pretty girls have a fab-U-lous week! 10 bones:)xoxoKillian

Whoo hoo! Nice weather! In the 40s yesterday. I got to go outside for the longest time. Actually, mom had to come get me to make me come in after an hour! There's sooo much to smell and see. I met another neighbor dog. He's lots bigger than me but I held my own. Can't wait to go out today. Is it finally nice for you?

PS...
I managed to snag a giant raw hide bone (which Mom quickly exchanged for a small one) at the store. The Rat was too busy crying to get out of the cart...he is such a "girl"- HA HA. Mom got him a treat anyways. JOE
