Quintin is our 2nd oldest Dachshund at age 5 years. He is a Chocolate Dapple and carries Isabella and English Cream.
Quintin is a very special boy. He is the only dachshund we've owned that had to go to obedience class! He was really meant to be an only dog because he does not like to share. Anytime I bring toys home he steals all of them, hoards them in a pile and growls if the other three try to take them back! He is very loving to us humans though. He is my husbands best friend and follows him everywhere. Quintin loves to have his paws rubbed especially between the toes. He is affectionately nicknamed Q-Dawg. Quintin also is our only dog who will actually sit still for us to take pictures of him and that is why it was really hard to only pick 8 for this site. He has taken so many cute photos!

This is a photo of Quintin at Pet Smart's obedience school. He would not do any of the commands unless we brought him a piece of rug to sit on! BTW: He graduated doing every command perfectly!

Hi Quintin!
Mommy giggle when she read that you wouldn't do your commands without a rug, I won't sit down unless there is carpet under my bum either. How dare they think we should put our precious doxie bums on the cold floor! I also go so far as to insist on being held whenever we are in a room without carpet, my little doxie paws should always be warm! Have a great day! your pal, Hawthorne

My dapple is high maintainence too....it must be the coloring. :) I thought it was hilarious that you had to bring a piece of carpet for his classes....haha

Quintin is a cutie pie:)
He's the first chocolate dapple I've seen and I must say he's got a lovely coat and a pretty brown nose!His personality sounds very much like Bjorn's - right down to the toy hoarding - which of course means Quintin sounds like he's pretty awesome and extremely fun to have around :)
