TOBEY DOO & TOREY ANN PIE AND PIGGLES WIGGLES
THERE WAS ONCE A DAY WHEN TOBEY DOO WAS THE ONLY DACHSHUND MOM HAD!
TOBEY ALWAYS CLOSES HIS EYES!
TOREY ANN IS THE ALPHA DOG IN THE HOUSE BUT THE BEST MOM TO ALL THE DOGS! WHETHER THEY WERE HER BABIES OR NOT SHE HAS TAKEN IN EVERY DOG AND BEEN VERY SWEET! SHE ONLY BUSTS SAMMY EVERY NOW AND THEN!
PIGGLES WIGGLES IS THEIR DAUGHTER AND WAS THE RUNT AND BORN DEAD! NEEDLESS TO SAY WE SPOILED HER ROTTEN BECAUSE WE THOUGHT SHE WOULD DIE! GUESS WHAT SHE IS TWO NOW AND WE CREATED A MONSTER! BUT WE LOVE HER MORE THAN YOU COULD IMAGINE! SHE IS MOMS BABY LOVER!

We are Foxy Doxy Dachshund Rescue in Central California!
We have 3 forever kids who are Tobey who is a 3 year old black, tan and silver dapple smooth, Torey who is also 3 and is a red and white smooth piebald, then we have Piggles who has her own myspace page. She is 2 and is Tobey and Torey's daughter!
Then we start with the rescues who have made it into our homes and hearts for the long haul! Many of the dogs we have rescued have terrible stories that led them to me! I will not tell them all but please understand there are so many out there that need someone to care that I loose sleep wondering what would have happened to the over 50 we have saved in just 8 months! Please support your local Dachshund Rescue or animal shelter in your area. This time of year is a hard time for these facilities and they need help and support. Even if you do not have money to spare spend some time with the animals! All they want is someone to love them! Even if it is just a visitor they will appreciate any time and love to can give!

Posey was one of 5 pups we took away from the breeder. Here rare color has been detrimental to her future! She is Isabella and Tan and very small. So needless to say everyone who has been interested in her has wanted me to give them her AKC papers! Nope sorry! I know some may think the best thing for a rescue is money! But $2000.00 is not worth sending her back to what I rescued her, her mom and dad and over 20 other dogs from! I want money to care for these dogs but not at the expense of one! She is our precious princess! Once you see her pics!
Butch is a 7 or 8 year old res smooth mini male! He is a precious sole. He started his life off being taken to a vet at six months to be put to sleep because his family would not pay for his bowel obstruction surgery! Wow I guess he was destined to end up in a rescue! He has had numerous surgeries since because of one thing or another! Hernia, teeth extractions etc. He is so happy just sitting on your lap and being cuddled! He is a very active guy and loves to play catch with tiny tennis balls. He will play for hours and you would never imagine he was as old as he is!
You cannot change the world by saving one dog! But I know a changed one dogs world by saving them!

THIS IS PRINCESS NUMBER TWO! SHE WAS NAMED AFTER A DOG WE RESCUED FROM THE SAME BREEDER SHE CAME FROM THAT WE HAD TO PUT DOWN AND SEND TO THE BRIDGE! SHE WAS IN PAIN!
POSEY HAS BEEN VERY SPOILED HERE! SHE NOT ONLY HAD HER MOM AND DAD BUT MANY OTHER MOMS AND DADS WHO HAVE ENJOYED TAKING CARE OF HER AND KEEPING A WATCHFUL EYE! BARON THINKS SHE IS HIS PERSONAL TOY! HE WOULD DRAG HER AROUND BY HER EARS! SOUNDS MEAN BUT NOW SHE RETURNS THE FAVOR!

THIS IS SAMMY! SAMMY HAD A PROBLEM WITH HIS TWO YEAR OLD HUMAN SISTER. SHE WOULD PULL ON HIS TAIL, PULL HIS EAS, SIT ON HIM, THROW THINGS AT HIM AND TORMENT HIM! SO ONE DAY HE HAD HAD ENOUGH AND SNAPPED AT HER. IT JUST PROGRESSED FROM THERE AND SAMMY DEVELOPED AN AGGRESSION ISSUE!
SAMMY DID LIKE TO SNAP AND HOLD ON TO YOUR HANDS OR WHAT EVER ELSE HE COULD BITE! HE HAS BECOME A BRAND NEW MAN NOW!
HE WOULD HAVE BEEN PUT DOWN! PLEASE DO NOT BLAME THE ANIMAL FOR AGGRESSION AND REALIZE THE SOURCE! THE SOURCE ALL MOST ALWAYS IS WHAT A HUMAN HAS PRODUCED! KEEP THAT IN MIND THE NEXT TIME YOU HEAR ABOUT A DOG BEING PUT DOWN FOR AGGRESSION!

THIS IS ANYA AND SHE IS 10 AND THE HAPPIEST DOG IN THIS HOUSE! SHE HAS NO IDEA SHE IS DIFFERENT AND WILL GIVE YOU A RUN FOR YOUR MONEY ON A WALK. JUST PUT MOM IN FRONT AND IF SHE CANNOT SMELL ME SHE CAN HEAR ME AND SHE COMES RUNNING!

Words fail me
Every time I read about rescues I am just beyond touched. Sadly my lifestyle doesn't permit me to foster or anything but I do know that when I am able to have a second dog I will be looking into getting one from a wonderful home like yours.
