HE IS THE LOVE OF OUR LIVES. HE MAKES EVERYDAY A LAUGHFEST AND LOVEFEST. I CANNOT WAIT TO GET ANOTHER, THOUGH I DON'T KNOW HOW NATHAN WILL TOLERATE US GIVING LOVE TO ANOTHER DOG. HE GETS SO JEALOUS IF WE HAPPEN TO BE ON A WALK AND WE RUN INTO ANOTHER DOG. OH, HE LOVES OTHER DOGS, DONT GET ME WRONG, HE JUST DOESN'T LOVE IT IF WE SHOW THE OTHER DOG ANY ATTENTION. HE IS SPOILED ROTTEN AND WE LOVE IT!!!
Jan. 7, 2009:
Just needed to be around other doxies lovers. My little boy had his third back surgery today and thank god he came through it just fine. Our neurosurgeon is our "angel" as he has done this surgery for a mere fraction of the cost it should have been. He will be in the hospital a few more days so he will get some strenght back.
Our home is so quiet without him. My other dog Jessie, a 13 year old beagle.is roaming from room to room looking for her little guy. Looking at all these wonderful pictures and reading everybody's stories makes me smile and I know exactly why we love these special little dogs. Have a safe and HEALTHY New Year doxie friends.

HOME AND RECOVERING(5 days after my back surgery
I'm tired of sleepin all the time but mom says thats what I need to get stronger. Hopefully I won't always walk like a "drunk sailor" whatever that is

I am so sorry, but I think your last message said Nathan went to Rainbow Bridge??? I sure hope I read this wrong. What a beautiful wonderful sassy pup he is and all the love you gave to him and him to you is immeasurable... I love the stories you wrote of him, and I am sorry he had 3 back surgeries.. these back problems can be heartbreaking.. to all. Pup and owners. thinking of you Mom and Dad.. love roxy and winnie
