Hi I'm Willow and I'm my mom's first puppy. She tells me I was an impulse buy, and a brave decision, considering how tough us dachshunds can be to potty train. And she got me at the end of October, right before the snow began to fall!! BRRR. But I'm a quick learner and I was potty trained by 4 months old! I just turned one on September 1st and I'm spoiled rotten!
When I was little, I got really sick two days after my mom got me. I was wheezing and coughing, and not eating or drinking. Mom took me to the vet, and they told her my lungs were very raspy, and that I would need to stay at the vet's for a few days. A few days turned into a week, and for that week I was on nebulizer treatments 6 times a day, and given nutrients and water through an IV, as well as being given oral antibiotics three times a day. I still didn't feel like eating on my own and was really sleepy all the time. The vet was afraid my bronchitis would turn into pneumonia if not monitored closely. Mom was very worried I might not come home from the vet, and she came to see me every day and brought me treats. A week later I finally got to go home with antibiotics and now I am the healthiest little girl!!
My mom just graduated from college this spring and I sure am happy she has more time to play and go on walks!! I am always standing by with a much needed kiss, and I am the sweetest doxie you'll ever meet. I love everyone, everything, and every animal I meet, and if I can manage to wiggle my way to you, I am quick to roll over for a belly rub if you're willing to spare a few moments.

Hi there Willow Autumn
What a beautiful name for such a dainty, pretty girl.So glad you recovered from your illness as a baby. You were such a cute little baby girl in your moms shoulder bag and you look so cute running and playing. It is so wonderful you and your mom have a whole lifetime now to love and enjoy each other. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that your pictures are adorable. Good job Mom.
