Birds on the deck. Actually its a red tail hawk who believes the girls could be dinner

Danby (after Danby, VT) is a 5 year old red long haired dachshund, and Payton (named after Walter, not Manning) is a 2 year old black and tan dapple long haired. Danby's favorite activity is chasing lights and shadows, and Payton's favorite activity is chasing Danby! To clarify both are girls.
Interesting facts - Danby has a lightning fast tongue, so it's best to keep your mouth closed when you meet her. Watch out for your ears too - she can lick your brain before you know what happened. Payton hides in the dishwasher when any service people come to the house - especially the bug guy (OK maybe "interesting" isn't quite the right word...)
