Lacey is our beautiful addition to the family and Payton's girlfriend. She is a crazy character that loves to play and chase Payton and the laser red dot. Lacey pulls on Payton's ears, tail, paws to pester him. She will chase the laser red light all over the house and watches all the reflections we can make with mirrors and strobe lights. She is a black and tan long hair we call aka "Fluffy" because her hair is so fine. She weighs in at about 11 pounds.
Update - We lost our baby Lacey in March 2019. We were very sad but we loved her for twelve years. We were going to see how long we could go without a dachsie baby. It was a lonely, quiet three months and then Oreo found us. He would have been great buddies with Lacey.
We love them all - I've had 7 dachshunds over 30 some years. Once you have one, you have to have another.
