Maggie-longhaired , Daisy- smooth red, Dooley-smooth red male (crossed rainbow bridge 6/28/2008). Dooley was my first dachshund that I got when I started having my cancer treatment. He became my focus and the love of my life. After I was well when he was about 4 he started getting ill and we put him on meds but his health deteriorated over the years so I had to put him down.(worst day of my life) We got Daisy to keep Dooley company but when he started getting sick he was not playful. So then we got Maggie and I now just have these two adorable princesses. Daisy has a sock fetish, I wonder if any other owners dachshunds have this thing for socks!

Muffin and I hope to see you at the Doxie Parade on the 26th. It's gonna be loads of fun with all us Hot dogs running around. Our Mommy & Daddy always have such BIG smiles on their faces while at the Parade. If you wanna know how to find me at the Parade, just look for the most beautiful black & tan girl there..... My oh my how cute. Yeah, I like socks too. I attack moms feet when she takes her shoes off to get those socks off. That means she's staying home with me! Doxie loves to ya. Macy.
