When Mommy picked him up at the vet after his "big boy surgery" the vet tech had shaved his tummy thinking it was a spay instead of a neuter! He had a ruptured cervical disk. When the surgeons had him on the operating table and asleep, they did some other tests. Poor Simon had many tumors in his lungs, Cushings disease and enlarged adrenal glands. They could have repaired his neck, but with the other diseases he could only have lived two or three months. Mommy made the difficult decision to let him go to the Rainbow Bridge two days before his twelfth birthday. I, Benny, love to talk also. And I especially enjoy unstuffing everything; even Mommy's sofa cushion! Let's be friends, okay? She's my dog in the evening and her daddy's dog in the mornings. She is the ultimate lap dog as I am sure Nathan must be. Jokingly last night I said that she was my most favorite baby I ever had.
