My Doxie, Simon, crossed the Rainbow Bridge two days before his 12th birthday in June of 2006. After being without him for three months, my brother gave me some money. When I asked him what it was for, he told me to go find another dog, because he was tired of hearing me cry. After searching for a Doxie to rescue failed, that's when I found my little buddy, Benny. I did find him at a backyard breeder's. He had worms, coccidiosis, ringworm, and fleas. But, with TLC and great vet care, Benny overcame all the problems. We've been together ever since. I still cry for Simon, but my brother doesn't know it. Benny loves my three cats! They all play and sleep together in my bed! Benny is the sixth Doxie who has owned me. I love Benny with all my heart.~~~As Will Rogers once said, "If there are no dogs in Heaven, then I don't want to go."
