Spanky came to us locally from a lovely lady that has been breeding & showing dachshunds for over 25 years. He is the most handsome black and tan I have ever laid eyes on! He is very shy and submissive and loves belly rubs.
Spanky "shares" life with Corky the Double Dapple Dominent Male, Radar the baby brat Sable Red Trouble Maker, and Piper the shorty Jack Russel who owns the Couch.
In October '08 he had to have 9 teeth pulled-I was mortified; turned out to be no big deal for him, heck, he INHALES his food anyway, and he still has the canines to flash around!

Hi Spanky
Sorry to hear about your teeth. I have 2 molars that are cracked but the Vet was afraid to remove them, since I am 12 yrs old. Did your Mom take you to special vet for the removal. I can tell by your pictures that you are a young little doxie but us old guys still know how to have fun. Your pictures are very calendar worthy.

Love your pictures and profile. By the pictures it seems like you have a life full of fun and sun. Love the Sun.Tell you Mom the toys without stuffing squeak longer and I hide mind all the time although pulling the stuffing out of the others is fun but my Mom always worries that I might try to eat it. I am an only child and she watches over me too much. Enjoy your day.

Hi Spanky!
Joe and I were browsing all the profiles that listed the vacuum cleaner as an arch enemy - I was surprised at how many listed that! My Joe is fearless in almost all his activities, but freezes in fear when I bring out the vacuum cleaner. He won't go pass it whether it is running or not! Spanky is one handsome dachshund! It must be such fun to have a houseful of Doxies and a Jack Russel! Devra and Joe

hi there i wass just wondering about your double dapple he is a beauty but my female just had puppies 4 weeks ago and she had a double dapple and he is blind in one eye and lord i hope nothing else.. i was curious how yours was health wise... you have a gorgeaous bunch though love them...
