Winnie came into my life 3 years ago as an 8 week old puppy. Never having had a doxie before, I had no idea what I was in for. That being said, I wouldn't change a thing. What other breed of dog is smart, stubborn, mischievous, loving, loyal - all rolled up in one. She is my little princess, for sure, who brings pure joy into my life. One year ago, I adopted Lucy, who is a red brindle piebald doxie, as a companion for Winnie. They are close in age, but with totally different personalities. Winnie is "out there" and Lucy is "laidback". When they start with the zoomies in the house, it is best to stay out of their way. As my kids are grown and out of the house, Winnie and Lucy are "my girls".

Happy Thanksgiving Winnie (and Lucy too)!
Best time of the year! I want to join all my fellow Doxie Parents in giving thanks that these wonderful little dogs are part of our lives. WOW, you are a beauty!! I am a Winnie too! But I am a black and tan! I love your coloring and sounds like you are a true doxie, silly, naughty, and loving all in one package!
