London is a 7 year old breeder dachshund that they no longer wanted, very limited socialization. He has lost his hair in his back & belly due to the twice diluted gene color. With him now living inside and getting the proper medicated baths, he has a chance of growing it back. He gets along with all my crew so far, but he tries to fight Patrick, the other male that I brought home with him....they do not like each other at all. They got into a brawl today and I had to rip them apart, one of them accidentally bit my finger....that was not fun. London is really sweet to me and the other dogs, he even let me scrape all the thick tarter off all of his teeth with a dental utensil....he's only known me for one day and let me do it!!....he's a good boy, but he and Patrick must have had some fights in the past. He played with Lil' Ally & Cassidy today.
Update on September 20th 2010~
London has adjusted beautifully to his forever home here at the Villa. He and Patrick are good buddies now....London get along with all. He still hasn't been able to grow much hair, darn that diluted blue gene! He has a odd obsession, any doors that are closed....he will lick and sniff the bottom of the
doors...he has even wore some of the paint off.

Congrats on DOTD and being able to live at the Villa. So glad that you and Patrick are now friends. That probably makes it easier on mom. You really are a very handsome boy.

WOWIE--another GEM of a choice for DOXIE OF THE DAY! It doesn't get much better than this...big PAR-TAY time at the Villa! Glad to hear you and Patrick are buddies now....just had to get to know one another. Patrick and you look alike except in color..Patrick may have thought you were a ghost of himself! Hey London! Congrats on being the DOTD! I'm glad you are out of that awful place from before and are in your new home making new friends, enjoying life like you should! Shame on the breeder for using a bald male! I bet you sired a lot of pups for her and she charged more for 'rare and unusual'! Kisses to you sweet boy and I wish you many happy healthy years.
