6/9/2010 update on Kai...
Well now that I've had some time to learn more about my precocious pup Kai I can say he's into everything, a neck warmer, squeaky fleece bone fanatic and treat nom begger all rolled into one. We have successfully figured out how long it takes for him to learn that pee'ing in the crate really isn't a pleasant thing and he's currently learning what the long draggy thing attached to his harness during the day is. Not digging it but liking the idea that he can go farther than the backyard. Oh ... choices choices. Learn to walk on the leash or be dragged. ( just joking )
He is nearly the same size as BeBe now and I think by the time he's done growing he will be a bit bigger than the Beebster. We'll see. He has been the best present we ever brought home to Molly ( she thinks everything that comes in the house is hers... ) she has lost weight due to rough housing so much with Kai. So he's a double blessing all around. :)
That's it for now... the old stuff I left below for my own future musings.
I don't know where to being about our newest little boy. His story is a long one and a hard one for me to share at this time. He was a close to Christmas baby born on 12-05-09 and became part of our family April 17th.
He has a wonderful spirit, the cutest puppy paws and loves to snuggle. Is learning what potty training is too.
We've decided Sir no name shall be called... Kai. :)

Greetings fellow chocolate doxie! Guess what? I am coming your way. My mommy, my doxie sister and I will be moving to Oregon in mid June. Mommy says I am going to love it there because I will have a fenced back yard. I am not sure what that is but she says I will love it. Do you have one? Does it feel good? Maybe we can meet up some day once I get to Oregon. Hang tough!
