June 1, 2008 10:07 am by Lola from Grayton Beach, FL Proud owner of Lola Update On LolaLola is 16 days post op and recovering well. Her overall health is good, she had her staples removed on Friday by her regular vet. At that time upon examination she showed that she had some deep pain in the right leg, but no deep pain in the left. This is good news and she will begin accupuncture next week and some physical therapy. She is adapting well to her situation, she is the best dog in the world, I am not sure I know of any human being who would go thru this like she has. We return to her LSU neuro doctors in two weeks. At that time we will be going full force with physical therapy. Please continue to keep her in your prayers. She has had some little signs like moving her tail and reaction when we express her bladder. We are so hopfull she will make a fully recovery. She goes to her regular vet Dr. Jamie next Friday to get her staples out. Hopfully we will begin some pt at that time. Thanks to dodgerslist.com for all of the help they have provided to us and owners all over the country with downed doxie's.
