Paper trainning
(read)
I have always had small dogs and always paper trained them for bad weather days. My Doxie has the hang of it,ALMOST! She will piddle on the papers all of the time. The problem is that she has NO idea how long she is! So, she always stands on the paper, with front feet only and piddles on the bare floor EVERY time. We wash our hallway floor a lot!

Paper Training
We have a flat wooden box with a tiny rim around it that holds newspapers really nice and it's easy to step into. Trouble is, Gerta stands and pees with her front feet in the box and her back ones on the floor. I am really busy changing papers when there's snow on the ground or it's storming. I don't care what people say about paper training, there has to be a place for them to go when they can't go outside.
