Vet said I was doing good job. Still not 100% housebroken no matter what we try. Tell your Dad to take you out on a leash and give you a "Good Girl" treat. It worked like magic with Herbie and 12 years later he still waits for his "good boy treat" whenever we go outside. I think that doxies love to hunt so much that sometimes when they go outside they just forget about the other things in life like going to potty.I also found that treats in a kong worked wonders to occupy Herbie whenever I would leave for work. He actually does not mind at all when I leave now because he knows it is treat and treat time. Anyway your little shadow lives up to her name, a real sweetheart. Sometimes I wonder where her appetite comes from. As far as potty training, Sabrett was very easy. 2 weeks, no paper training and we used a crate, however if my husband had been in charge she may never have been trained.
