This is Hudson, "Handsome Hudson," "Hudsy wudsy," "Poo Face," "SirBarksalot "(a favorite of my friend Lucy) "that damned dog - shut-up" often referred to from Skot, Lucy's husband and also my landlords. He was "Woodson" when I was searching through the internet "Pet-Finder" site, being sheltered by 1 Love Dog Rescue in Elk Grove, CA. I can appreciate the ruggedness of the name "Woodson" but I had to change his name because a "weinie dog" named "WOODY", need I say more! I was told by the rescue that he wasn't socialized by his former owner and at first he might be scared. It didn't take very long to win him over with hot dogs and he loves me now and slowly he his getting better meeting strangers and greets my close friends with excitement instead of barking and running away. I wish he would get to know my landlords, and stop barking at them! They are happy I have him and I am working on him getting him to warm up to them.
