How sweet. Lacey's pup picture is so adorable I could kiss that belly forever. Pink bellys and puppy breath always bring a smile to my face. And you are correct in the difference in personalities of long and short. The breeder said to me that my girls parents were wirehaired but she is short shaired. ?? Obviously short in the family somewhere. My girl has the short haired personality. I love all doxies, I find them to one of the most human like dogs around. Love and kisses to all your pups. And boy, are they delish!!! For the pumpkin/yogurt treats: use equal parts vanilla yogurt and plain pumpkin pie filling. Mix well. For the peanut butter/yogurt treats (our favorite): a container of vanilla yogurt and peanut butter (a little less than half the volume of the yogurt). Microwave the peanut butter just enough to soften it up (15-20 seconds, stir it up). Add the vanilla yogurt, stir it up. Killian's Mom puts her treats in an ice cube tray (cause they have lots of furbabies). Our Mom found some small (3 oz.) disposable plastic cups that she uses, 'cause there's only 3 of us. She doesn't fill them full, only about half. Put the treats in the freezer for about 30 minutes. You can leave them in longer to make them more frozen. Mom puts ours in our dog food bowls for us to eat. They can be a little messy sometimes. Or you guys could eat them outside. We know you will love them as much as we do. Enjoy!!!
