He no doubt left his paw prints across the hearts of all those who knew and loved him. I met my first doxie in 68.. this first of many in my life! Next a boyfriend in HS, one at my first job, then finally I got my OWN! Prima was a delight, like you.. stole my heart forever, too! She lost her battle at 4.5 years, too soon also. But she remains in my heart like your family does, maybe you and Prima are having car rides together at RB. You'd of liked her... Hugs to your family and Happy Easter! Our mama has us now, Love Roxy and Winnie April 24, 2011 8:13 am by herbmeister from Tomball, TX Proud owner of Herbie What a perfect choice for Easter SundayMoochie sounds like he was one INCREDIBLE little guy. It is so touching to be able to read about him after all these years that he has been absent (only physically) from your life but still remains in your heart. I too look forward to meeting Moochie some day on the other side of the bridge. Someday, when I meet you at the bridge, we can talk about being "the first in a looooooong line" of looooooong dogs in our families. I am honored to hear your story and Mom and Dad are impressed too! Your stories brought a smile to my face. I am sure he brought many smiles to yours. Moochie did a lot of "living" in the few years he had in this life. Thank god he has a family who loved him! July 19, 2008 1:36 pm by Papi from Macon, GA Proud owner of Manny Awesome memories!Turned out Moochie was worth way more than the cost of the mechanics fees.... nnothing like being owned by a doxie! God gives us memores so we can have roses in the winter time. Welcome and thanks for sharing. July 15, 2008 9:21 pm by arniesmom from Seattle, WA Proud owner of Arnie Just a note about OUR beloved MoochieWhile he stayed with his cousin (that would be me) he slept with me. I had a room downstairs and had an electric blanket for winter nights. Moochie found out how to turn the blanket off or on with the toggle switch and I swear he'd have a grin on his face when I awoke in the middle of summer in a puddle after he had turned the silly blanket on at it's highest setting. He was indeed the Patriarch and he "conditioned" us to surviving a day in the life of our subsequent Dachsie babies. |
