Angel Moochie!

Moochie will be in our thoughts today as our DOTD! Such a sad ending to a wonderful life Moochie lived, RIP.

DOTD Forever!

It is so nice for Moochie to be remembered all these years later. He no doubt left his paw prints across the hearts of all those who knew and loved him. I hope he greeted my beloved Dewy when he crossed the bridge, RIP Moochie

Will Always Moochie

A beautiful tribute to a very special family member. Enjoyed the 'love' story. I hope he has met my Herbie that crossed the bridge 9-4-14

Such a beautiful profile!

You wrote this beautifully. Such a great story about Moochie. I feel like I was part of his adventures. I wonder do you currently have any doxies? God Bless little Moochie up in heaven!

Love the picture of Moochie and such a great story! Wishing him and all those doxies who went to the rainboq bridge lots of loves and their favorite treats. And their favorite people in the world will one day be with them again. Macy

smoochies to moochie!

What a wonderful picture.. just love it! I met my first doxie in 68.. this first of many in my life! Next a boyfriend in HS, one at my first job, then finally I got my OWN! Prima was a delight, like you.. stole my heart forever, too! She lost her battle at 4.5 years, too soon also. But she remains in my heart like your family does, maybe you and Prima are having car rides together at RB. You'd of liked her... Hugs to your family and Happy Easter! Our mama has us now, Love Roxy and Winnie

What a perfect choice for Easter Sunday

Moochie sounds like he was one INCREDIBLE little guy. It is so touching to be able to read about him after all these years that he has been absent (only physically) from your life but still remains in your heart. I too look forward to meeting Moochie some day on the other side of the bridge.

I'm Speechless!

Dad tells me that I am the first Doxie his people family ever was owned by! Someday, when I meet you at the bridge, we can talk about being "the first in a looooooong line" of looooooong dogs in our families. I am honored to hear your story and Mom and Dad are impressed too! Bella Joy, Anne and Mike too.

Joe and I enjoyed your story sooo much!

How lucky you all were to have had such a wonderful dachshund to share your life with. Your stories brought a smile to my face. I am sure he brought many smiles to yours. Moochie did a lot of "living" in the few years he had in this life. Thank god he has a family who loved him! Devra and Joe

Awesome memories!

Turned out Moochie was worth way more than the cost of the mechanics fees.... nnothing like being owned by a doxie! God gives us memores so we can have roses in the winter time. Welcome and thanks for sharing.

Just a note about OUR beloved Moochie

While he stayed with his cousin (that would be me) he slept with me. I had a room downstairs and had an electric blanket for winter nights. Moochie found out how to turn the blanket off or on with the toggle switch and I swear he'd have a grin on his face when I awoke in the middle of summer in a puddle after he had turned the silly blanket on at it's highest setting. He was indeed the Patriarch and he "conditioned" us to surviving a day in the life of our subsequent Dachsie babies.
