I wanted to tell you some good news, that I don't think, by the photos, that you are a blue dapple pie. I think you are a black/tan dapple pie instead. The reason that it's good news is because blues have skin and coat issues, which is so sad to suffer with. If you have black on you, whether it's your nose, your nails, or your foot pads, your ticking, you can't be a blue. Doxies that are blue have every black part turned to grey. Thank goodness you found your forever home. It was funny that you were thought to be a beagle/doxie, because I grew up with one of those that was rescued -found floating in a trashcan- after a flood. She was a REALLY tall-looking doxie!! Also very shy of men, and terrified at loud noises. But with lotsa love she became a family fixture for many years. Have a happy always!!!!
