Phoebe was my mother's little girl from Recycled Pom's Rescue of Houston. Phoebe was my Mom's constant companion until my mom's death August 2016. Phoebe moved in from a quiet house to my house with 3 dachshunds. She is only 5lbs, full of energy, and a little bossy. Amy is one of her favorite playmates
The worst thing of owning a special pet family member is when it is time to let go. Phoebe has been sick for a couple of weeks and her little body had grown tired. This morning the vet told us there is nothing more they could do. Phoebe only weighed 5 lbs but had the courage of a champion. Do not know her exact age because she was adopted on 2006 by my mom on mothers day weekend. The guess is that Phoebe was probably close to 15 yrs old. Her tiny body and strong will are going to be missed. 4/2/2018

Sweet little Phoebe
I think of little Phoebe every day and wish she was still with me. She weighed only 5 lbs but had the heart of a champion. Even though she is not a dachshund I am grateful she is being honored today.
