Daisy is technically my Mom's dachshund, so that makes her my fur-sister. A tenacious girl who loves hunting for mice and bark and would happily do either or both all day long. After IVDD surgery over a decade ago she continues rolling through life with a smile. She uses a dog wheelchair cart when she's outside and she scoots inside, so fast that we can't catch her sometimes.
Although she has IVDD and is paralyzed, it's clear that she doesn't consider herself as different. She plays with toys, rolls, chases the other dogs, hunts, begs for food, barks like a manic and anything else that dachshunds do.
