You're also doing a fine job on the soft ice cream, and lookin' MIGHTY NICE in your green sweater! Would love to hear more about your mole-catching technique, sounds like you have really become a real expert. Might also be nice to toss in the occasional badger too . . . after all, dachshund means badger-hound in German. January 23, 2014 10:14 am by cpn2jxp from Tobyhanna, PA Proud owner of Sabrett Hi Tulip!Congrats on DD. LOVE the picture of "just the snout sticking out"!! LOL I have so many pictures of my girl like this. Of course I usually have to disturb her cause I can't stand the cuteness. Enjoy your special day and perhaps you will get some ice cream! May you have many more happy healthy years with your family! October 2, 2011 8:43 pm by chunkymonkey from sacramento, CA Proud owner of Macy and Bailey A pretty name for a pretty girl. Whip cream is my favorite. Is that ice cream or whip cream? Looks like starbucks to me - Yummy! Wishing you and your brother lots of doxie fun. January 19, 2011 5:29 pm by herbmeister from Tomball, TX Proud owner of Herbie Hi TulipJust stopping by to say hi to a pretty doxie girl. Hope Santa brought lots of presents for you and Picasso. August 10, 2010 4:57 pm by barbara318 from Gladwyne, PA Proud owner of Henry What a beauty!I must have HUNDREDS of pix of my two minis, Henry and Daisy, with snouts sticking out from under the blankets or in other poses of repose. They are great photographic subjects because they're so accustomed to me photographing them, and they're usually asleep. Louis, my 30-lb. standard red, is the only one that will hog and entire blanket and wrap himself up in like a Dairy Queen cone - with just his butt and back legs sticking out. What a comic! Three dogs, same breed, completely different personalities. Isn't it great? August 10, 2010 4:22 pm by herbmeister from Tomball, TX Proud owner of Herbie Congratulations TulipWhat a pretty name for a pretty girl.. Love your "snout" picture. I went to the races several years ago and I decided to stay in the box and hunt while all the other doxies were running down the track. Then I just took a casual jog down the track, stopping to visit along the way, and then back to mom's arms. So much for racing. You need to come over to my hayfield and we could hunt for gophers together. Maybe you can teach your brother how to hunt, which is more fun than racing. August 10, 2010 12:36 pm by Devra from Wayland, MI Proud owner of Joe Hi Tulip!CONGRATS - What a beautiful DOXIE OF THE DAY! Hey, I like sticking my rear end out of the covers...Mom says I need to "air out" that part too! Hope you and Picasso are staying cool this HOT summer! JOE August 10, 2010 10:50 am by sullysmom from Bennington, NE Proud owner of Sully oh my, I see that you love your ice cream cones too!! August 10, 2010 9:25 am by cpn2jxp from Tobyhanna, PA Proud owner of Sabrett Ahh a Classic!Any doxie parent knows the classic "snout sticking out" picture! LOL It goes along with some of the most famous pictures in my book. We will look for our girl and can't find her (many beds) until we see the classic snout! Tulip sounds wonderful and I don't blame her for not wanting to race. Way too much work for a doxie! Many happy healthy years to you! August 6, 2010 4:55 pm by MaxiandBertsmom from Santa Rosa, CA Proud owner of Bert Tulip delicate flower!I am having one heck of a time trying to dig for gophers, huh maybe I should switch to moles! I dig dig and dig and bite the dirt and sniff and still all I get is DIRT! Mom gets a kick out of my antics but this is serious work for me. We are so glad that your family is sharing you with all of here at dailydoxie! Do you play with brother Piscasso, or are you two still getting to know one another? We are surprised you can catch a mole! They are quick, only my cats could do that here in MI! Love the pic of you in your green sweater--such a beauty! Devra and Joe January 2, 2010 3:18 pm by bonnieandhopismom from Round Rock, TX Proud owner of Bonnie and Hopi Hi Tulip!I love your profile photo - it's hysterical. I'm sure it shows your clever personality. We live very close to Buda, Texas, where they have wiener dog races every April. Last April was the first time I was with my mom (she adopted me from a rescue agency) so it was the first time I ran in the races (that we know of). I did not like being left at the starting gate (AT ALL!) but once the gate opened, I ran like the wind! I came in 3rd out of 8 in my race but only the first 2 advance, so that was it for me, but mom says we're going to do it again this April. Is that ice cream you're eating in the photo? (I love dairy!) Hope to see more photos of you soon. Leaving you 10 bones! xo, Bonnie |
