We lost our beloved first Doxie, Maddie, in 2014. We knew we wanted to rescue and wanted siblings...6 weeks later we adopted our girls, Piper and Shelby from All Texas Dachschund Rescue. They had the best foster mom, Tammy. Her and her husband bottle fed them the first few days because their mama had a C-section. They are the best pups, they love to play together and hate to be separated. Piper loves to sunbathe and Shelby loves attention. They both love chasing their cat siblings😈

Congratulation's and welcome to DOTD. You are two very beautiful sisters. I have adopted 3 dachshunds from Dachshund Rescue of Houston. I think adopted dachshunds are special. I lost my Herbie in 2014 and understand your hurt. My adopted girls helped me get through the pain(Herbie's mom)
