I am so happy that they chose to wait it out and see if you could heal, and you did! Dodgerslist is a place to go when your dachshund is having back problems, and they have found that 6 weeks in crate rest isn't quite long enough because some dogs relapse back to the beginning. 8 weeks is recommended. Our Beau was wobbly in his back legs and with 8 weeks crate rest and meds, he's totally recovered. Come by and see how he's doing. I can't forget to say Congrats on being the DOTD! Yay, it did. I know just how you feel as my girl fell off the bed and had a bad neck injury. The chiropractor eventually was the answer. She is now carried up and down stairs and no jumping, ever! I would do ANYTHING for her so I know how you feel about Snuggles. We wish Snuggles many happy healthy years with you and we love all the pictures!
