Mom tells a Thanksgiving story about me - it was Thanksgiving 2008. I had just come to live with mom a month earlier. We were getting along great. She took me to Auntie's for Thanksgiving, like we always do. Mom, Auntie, and Grandma were in the living room talking after the meal and, for a moment, I wasn't in sight. Just then, Mom said "where's Bonnie" and immediately after that heard the tinkling of my ID tag against a dish. I had climbed up on the dinner table and had taken 2 bites of the cheesecake. It was mighty good but mom said, no more cheesecake. And, she never again underestimated my ability to get what I want! I really don't know how your mom keeps up with all the individual profiles...whew!! Hey-- FOOTBALL IS BACK! Our teams aren't off to the greatest of starts, but, hey its still early! My NINERS will make me proud on Monday Nite (right?). It has been raining a lot here, but Mom doing her best to let me get some serious varmint rock hunting done inbetween the storms. Brother Rat must have strained his skinny long leg chasing golf balls...he has be walking on 3 legs and trying to get sympathy. I splintered one of my toe nails - no crying on my part like the RAT. Mom took me to the Vet-they just gave me pills to prevent infection. I took care of the problem myself, and chewed that dang nail right off! Mom was proud of me! (I think). It feels so good to be outside again! It looks like the Villa has a fun time on the trails--did anyone see a stray varmint rock??????
